We got our first pictures of the new addition to our family today.

We were told that the baby is perfect. Such wonderful news.

I'm sorry...

I know it has been a long time since I have posted and I just wanted to say sorry to those of you who read this blog consistantly.

At the end of June Mando and I found out that we are expecting another baby. We are absolutely thrilled, but I am also now dealing with the most horrible morning sickness all day long. For a couple of weeks I was barely able to get out of bed, I could hardly eat anything and was exhausted all the time. I was able to go back to work a couple of days ago but only for very short shifts.

This summer has been a bit difficult for us here. With me not able to work a full schedule Mando had to get a second job. He is now working at a hardware store here in our neighborhood.

Hopefully things will be better very soon since I am now in my second month. Please keep us in your thoughts...

Animals

Isa and I went into the backyard today and checked up on the Chickens and the Rabbit.

4th of July Fun

Our family had a great 4th of July.

We went over to our friends the Amaya's house for swimming and dinner. The kids had a so much fun swimming and playing together. Thankfully Mando was right in the middle of it so I could get out and take some pictures.







After that we went to watch the fireworks from the Botanic Gardens. The kids were in awe. I believe it is the first time in Isa's life that she was still.

Such a great way to end a fabulous day.

Isa Turned 3

Catarina Isabella Villarreal

is now 3 years old

What a fabulous party she had. She picked everything for her party this year. The piñata, cake, cups, fish... she was very specific about what she wanted.

We ended up buying the cake this year but I had to dip and decorate the strawberries myself for her. She is very good at letting us know exactly what she wants.

Fishing With Lance

Two days ago Mando went fishing with Chase. She had a wonderful time and was so excited when I got home to tell me about the fish they caught. Among all the regular fish they also caught two giants. She told me all about how she had to help get them on the boat with the net. Good for them. I am so glad they had fun.

Yesterday Mando went out fishing with a friend of his. He always has the best time when he gets out with his friends.
