Fishing With Lance

Two days ago Mando went fishing with Chase. She had a wonderful time and was so excited when I got home to tell me about the fish they caught. Among all the regular fish they also caught two giants. She told me all about how she had to help get them on the boat with the net. Good for them. I am so glad they had fun.

Yesterday Mando went out fishing with a friend of his. He always has the best time when he gets out with his friends.

Father's Day

What a great day. Mando was able to spend time with all the kids today. He got two gifts that he really likes.

I had to work until 430 but that did not stop them from going out and enjoying themselves. Mando and William went out to see Dimebag Darrels Grave and then went to Academy. Once I got off work I went home and watched the kids play on the trampoline with the waterhose. They had so much fun.

While they were playing Mando finished grilling the steaks and he and I sat outside and ate. Thankfully they were hungry too and wanted to go in to eat. It was very hot outside. The steaks were perfect and there was not much left when everyone was finished eating.

Emily and Chase washed the dishes and I cleaned up the table. Then Peter called. What a wonderful surprise. Everyone was so glad to hear from him.

After a great day everyone just sat around and relaxed.

But then Mando wanted to go to Walmart... so away we went...

Armando's Birthday Weekend

Mandos birthday celebration started on Friday. Sadly I had to work until 6:45 and the party started at 7. This left Mando to do all of the cooking by himself. I felt bad but there was not much I could do since I recently started this job. Many of his friends showed up for the party and we all had a great time.
On Saturday he decided he wanted to go out to Cabelas so we loaded up the car and away we went. Mando enjoys wandering around Cabelas. It is best to go when you have lots of time. When we were done out there we went to our friends the Amayas house for chicken enchiladas. Delicious. From there we went to Academy for more shopping and then I had to go to work till 11pm.
Today was his birthday and he wanted to go fishing. So this morning we went out on the boat. It was too windy so we were only out for about an hour. After fishing we came home. Mando had some things to do and went out for awhile. While he was gone Isa took a nap and then we were off to walmart to get him a gift bag for his present. He picked up Emily and William and they came over to have dinner.
Hopefully he enjoyed his birthday weekend.
