Today Mando and I have been married for 4 years...

An Update

What a wonderful holiday season we have landed in... Thanksgiving was great. We had everyone over to our house and boy did we put down some food. We ate all day long. On Friday Mando, Isa and I got up early and braved the crowds to get some shopping done. Walmart and Sams were the two we hit in the morning, then we came home for a nap. After our very restful nap (Isa laid down with us also and kicked both of us the whole time) we got all the kids ready and went out shopping again.

Everyone here seems to be getting into the Christmas spirit. I am glad because I need help decorating since I have little to no balance left and cant climb a ladder.

Today we had another Dr. appointment and the baby is doing well. He seems to be causing my body to not work as well as it should. My glucose test came back elevated so I have to watch my sugar intake and I take the three hour glucose test on Tuesday. My iron level is too low so I am now on a high iron diet... YUM YUM. Going to have to find a way to make that all taste good. I had my rhogam shot since I am rh negative. They did it in my shoulder this time and I could not believe how much more it hurt that when I had it in my hip last time. I also had blood drawn which is not too bad. Seems like they take blood every time I go.

The Dr. is scheduling this c-section for March 3, 2009.

A month in a post

Wow. How quickly time got away from me. I always had the intention of updating the blog but life happens sometimes. So here goes our last month.

First we celebrated Chases 12th birthday. She gets to pick the restaurant and we all meet for dinner, cake and presents. This year she chose a Vietnamese restaurant called Phuongs. Everyone had a great time and we all had some wonderful food. Chase of course had a great time.

Next we had our annual Halloween Party. It is typically a costume party and we fry fish and all hang out together while the kids play. This year I did not dress up. Maternity costumes are really just ugly...

After that came Halloween Day... Trick or treating madness in our neighborhood.

Then came November...

This month has been mostly full of dr. appointments. I went to the doctor and measured 8 weeks bigger than I am supposed to be. So test after test after test. All normal results. Today I had a sonogram so they could measure fluid and size. All perfect. They decided we are just going to have a big baby boy. Here is a pic. of his face.

Aside from that we have been dealing with a virus running through our house. So far Isa and Mando have been sick. We are just waiting to see who is next.

Botanic Gardens

Today I took the girls to the Botanic Gardens. We were driving by and decided to go. The pictures did not turn out too bad considering they were taken with my phone. Next time I will be prepared!

We had a nice time just being out walking together.

It's A Boy

Today we found out we are going to be having a boy. So happy!

We got our first pictures of the new addition to our family today.

We were told that the baby is perfect. Such wonderful news.
