Redfish on Fairfield

So Mando and Greg went out to Lake Fairfield on Sunday.

Isa was so happy when they got home. She loves to help hold the fish for pictures.

Yesterday we had grilled Redfish for dinner.

Easter

Fingernails

Isa painted her nails today. She was so proud.

Don't they look beautiful.

Reading time

Henry was getting a little fussy while I was cooking so Isa ran off and got a book to read to him. It was so cute watching her name off the animals and try to show him the pictures. By the time I got the camera she was getting sidetracked. This will be a wonderful memory.

La Gran Plaza

On Sunday we went to La Gran Plaza to try to find a shirt for Mando.

We came across this huge inflateable play area. Isa was thrilled.

The play area was $3.00 for 20 minutes. Well worth it for the amount of fun Isa had.


This slide started at the 2nd floor of the mall.


Then she got to ride the Elmo car.
They had all kinds of rides for kids but we didn't stop at most of them. It will give her something to look forward to the next time we go.

Botanic Gardens

On Saturday we went to the Botanic Gardens for a plant sale but we missed it. We ended up just wandering around the gardens with the kids.

The girls kept getting after Isa for throwing pennies in the ponds.

They liked looking at the waterfalls.

By this time Isa was sweaty and thirsty.

We can't go anywhere without some kind of electronics.

Henry was enjoying the gardens as well

When we got back to the van it would not start. Mando had accidentally left the keys in the ignition. We were fortunate that someone had just parked next to us. He offered to jump the van. These were by far the nicest people at the gardens that day.

Isa took this time to run and play some more. She found a rock that she says is shaped like a foot.

Overall we had a wonderful time just wandering around and talking.

Fishing

Mando and his friends have been out catfishing.

Here is Mando with a 30 lb catfish.

Lance, Greg and Mando. This is just what they brought home. They threw back at least this many.

Isa, Sophia, Chase and Erica.

Isa is not afraid of anything. No one else wanted to touch them. She sure is strong.
