Fish Fry

Nearly 2 weeks ago we had a fish fry here in our back yard. As always Mando caught and cooked the fish and it was wonderful.
There were a number of babies that attended this time around.
This is Tina with her son Christopher

This is Sharon with her sons Samuel and Gabriel and her daughter Adrianna. Victoria and Daniel are behind her.

Our friends Joel and Andrea came this time. Joel brought his mother who was down for a visit. She is one of the sweetest women I have ever met.

Brianna loves to pet Juno even though she always stinks.

Here are all the babies together. They are going to grow up to be great friends.
Their birthdays range from Feb. 22 to Mar. 11.

Henry, Samuel, Gabriel and Christopher.

And here we are.

Busy Days

I know I keep saying I will keep up with this but it seems like I will never catch up. There have been so many things going on lately that I never have enough time to sit down alone. It's really hard to type when feeding a baby.
Here is a picture of Henry sitting on our bed. My mom said he looks like an M&M.

Isa has taken every opportunity available to play outside. She is not a child that can stand to just hang out inside. We decided to play hopscotch on the driveway in the back yard. She is getting very good at jumping into the squares. She used to just jump all over the drawing and then announce that she had won.

Henry sat quietly next to her and observed.

Mando took a picture of Henrys foot and his hand. He will never be that small again.

We went to church and everyone wanted to hold him. It actually caused a problem because I did not want him to be passed around. Too many people are sick this time of year and if one person gets to hold the baby then everyone wants to. When I say no it's nothing personal. My grandma got to hold him though. He was 2 weeks old here.

Then we went to the park to feed the ducks. Isa had been begging for about a week.

Here we are just hanging out at a friends house.

On Thursday Isa had to go to the Dr. She had been complaining of an ear ache. For her they usually turn into ear infections. The doctor could not find anything wrong with her. So we did a rapid strep test even though there was nothing wrong with her throat. It came back negative. She decided she needed a nap in the office.

The next day Henry had his 1 month appointment. They asked how Isa was feeling. I told them she was fine. No complaints at all.
Henrys appointment went well. He is 97% for height and weight. They all commented about how big he is. When the nurse had to give him his shot she actually had to lay across his legs to hold him down. She couldnt believe how strong he is. On Friday he weighed 11 lbs 11 ozs.
Later on Friday the nurse from the doctors office called and said Isa did have strep. When the rapid strep came back negative they did the long test and it came back positive. She has been on antibiotics for a few days now and is so happy that her ear doesnt hurt anymore. It's strange how kids feel pain sometimes.
I will try to post some other pictures and stories a little later.

Henry and Christopher

Growing up I was fortunate enough to have cousins that were the same age as I was. Henry will also have that opportunity. My cousin Chris and his wife Tina had their baby boy on the 12th.

They are only 16 days apart.
